Iron City Psychiatry is the practice of Dr. Charles Davis, a board certified psychiatrist serving patients in Birmingham, AL. We provide psychiatric treatment through medication management to patients 14 and older with anxiety, depression, and many other conditions. We are no longer accepting new patients.
Our Approach to Psychiatric Treatment
Our approach to treatment involves developing a deeper understanding of each patient’s unique concerns and needs. We utilize longer appointments in order to dive more deeply into each patient’s symptoms and conditions, their psychiatric and medical history, and their goals for treatment. We aim to help everyone who seeks treatment with us to not only manage their symptoms, but to achieve healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Our Psychiatric Treatment Services
We offer outpatient medication management services for psychiatric conditions in patients age 14 and older in the Birmingham area. Medication management is a safe and effective method of treating not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of many mental health conditions. Our appointments are dedicated to tailoring the right treatment for each patient’s individual diagnosis, symptoms, and other needs.
We no longer conduct treatment in-person and now only offer a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth services.

Fees and Financial Information
Iron City Psychiatry is a fee-for-service practice, and the costs for all of our appointments and services can be found on our Financial Information page. We are not in-network with any insurance providers, but certain providers and plans may offer you out-of-network reimbursement for treatment with us. Financial assistance may also be available for certain qualified patients. Due to Medicare regulations, we are unable to see any patients with Medicare.
